On the 1st December 2004 Copenhagen Blue opened its doors for the first time. Taking the bold step to open a woman’s clothes boutique on a street full of antique emporiums and coffee shops, some people said at the time we were crazy, we’d say we were visionary.
During this time have seen our beautiful and historic High Street evolve over the years to the thriving hub of the town that it is today. Looking back to 2004 the world was certainly a different place! Girls Aloud were at Number 1 on that first day of trading and Tony Blair was Prime Minister. We managed to survive Girls Aloud Greatest Hits, lasted longer than Blair, Brown and Cameron and survived the worst recession in living memory.
We therefore think it’s time to celebrate this success (especially the lasting longer than Girls Aloud)
