We just spotted these glass poppies in Nucleus Arts Rochester - fitting for remembrance day and a beautiful unique gift for a loved one.
Red - commemorating our heroes who died in the war.
Purple - remembering the service dogs that died in the war.
These Flowers have been individually made by local Artist Lesley O'Brien in her Kent studio using specialist glass that is cut and then fused together in a kiln at temperatures of up to 750ºC.
The glass flowers are then slumped over individual moulds to make their unique shape.
They come on bendy copper stalks that you can gently bend if desired.
Available now at Nucleus Arts on Rochester High Street. Find out more by clicking the link below.
